Meet the Housing Staff
Director of Housing & Manager of Central Avenue Dorm
Landon West is the Director of Housing and the manager of the Central Avenue Dormitory. Landon is in his 1st year here at Cowley. Originally from Goodland, KS he came to Cowley College on a Baseball Scholarship and graduated with his Associate’s Degree in 2005. Then moved on to Emporia State University to continue his athletics where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Recreation with a minor in Coaching in 2007. He met his wife Lory while attending Cowley; she also works for the college as an Admissions representative. Email: westl@cowley.edu

Manager of Oscar Kimmell Dorm
Scott Camien is the dorm manager for the Oscar Kimmell Dormitory. Scott Camien is in his second year at Cowley with the housing and baseball staff. He is a graduate of Emporia State University where he obtained his B.S.E. in Physical Education and is currently working towards his M.S.E. in Physical Education. Scott played two years at Allen County Community College in Iola, KS. He then transferred to Arkansas State University to continue his baseball career. He then transferred to ESU to complete his college education. Scott comes from Topeka, KS and resides in Kimmell Dormitory. Scott and his wife, Lacey, have a 5 year old daughter named Bailey. Manager of William Docking Dorm
Katrina is the manager of the William Docking Dormitory. Katrina begins her 1st year as a manager of the women’s dorm and her 1styear as an Assistant Basketball Coach for the Tigers. Originally from Fort Scott, Katrina attended FSCC, graduating with her Associate’s Degree in 2001. She then transferred to Southeast Missouri State as a student assistant/manager for the Women’s Basketball program and eventually working as an assistant coach during the 2005-2006 season. While at SEMO she completed her undergraduate degree in social studies in 2004 and Masters in Higher Education in May 2007. Email: colwellk@cowley.edu
Manager of Kirke W. Dale Dorm
Steve is the manager of the Kirke W. Dale Dormitory. Steve begins his 1st year as Head Men’s Basketball Coach for the Tigers and his 31st year overall. He has also coached volleyball, baseball and track and field. Steve grew up in Haven, Ks. He moved to Wichita to attend college at Newman University and earned his degree in secondary education and history. Steve has coached at the junior high level, high school, NCAA Division I and has spent the last 10 years at the community college level. Email: ecks@cowley.edu
Manager of Storbeck Dorm
Jeff is the manager of the Oscar Kimmell Dormitory. Jeff Simundic is in his 1st year as a Dorm Manager at Cowley College. He is also in his 1st year as an Assistant Athletic Trainer. He resides in Storbeck Dormitory. Jeff graduated from Clarke College with a BS in Athletic Training in 2005. He also received his MS from Illinois State University in Kinisiolgy and Recreation in 2007. Email: simundicj@cowley.edu
