Automotive Technology
Cowley College Automotive Program is ASE certfied
in all eight areas
The motor vehicle repair industry has
taken on a new sophistication and requires advanced technical training,
strong communication skills, computer literacy, and electrical/electronics
skills.
Graduates of our Automotive Technology
program may become service managers, service engineers, automotive
writers, automotive instructors, parts and service technicians, and

The Automotive Technology program offers an A.A.S. Degree
and a vocational certificate in the automotive technology field that
cover the eight major areas of required skills:
- brakes
- suspension & steering
- manual transmissions
- automatic transmission
- electrical/electronics
- heating & air conditioning
- engine repair & engine performance
Associate
of Applied Science (AAS) click

The AAS degree gives the student entry-level skills required to become
an automotive technician.
Certificate click
here
Students graduating with a certificate may use the certificate as partial
fulfillment of the associate degree.

Locations
A comprehensive Automotive Technology program is taught at the main campus
in Arkansas City and the Mulvane
Automotive Technology Center.
