ACCREDITATION AND RECOGNITION Cowley County Community College and Area Vocational-Technical School is fully accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and by the Kansas State Board of Education. In addition, individual programs are accredited by associated professional organizations. Cosmetology is accredited by the Kansas State Board of Cosmetology, and EMS education is accredited by the Committee on Accreditation of Educational Programs for EMS Professions.The College is a member in good standing of the Kansas Association of Community Colleges, the Council of North Central Junior Colleges and the American Association of Community and Junior Colleges.

Cowley County Community College and Area Vocational-Technical School complies with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), which prohibits the release of education records without student permission.

SECURITY Unauthorized attempts to access privileged data is strictly prohibited and may be punishable under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act of 1986 (18 U.S.C. § 1001 note) and the National Information Infrastructure Protection Act of 1996 (18 U.S.C. § 1030).
