William R. Docking Dormitory


Cowley has the capacity to house 330 students in four dorms. Some luxuries of dorm life include: free high-speed cox cable internet, free cox cable with over 70 channels, free laundry, computer labs in every dorm and much more.

In 1994, the William (Bill) R. Docking Dorm was opened. William R. Docking is the Chairman and CEO of Union State Bank in Arkansas City. He is also the son of the late Kansas Governor, Robert B. Docking. In 1995, Bill was appointed to the Kansas Board of Regents and served as chair from July 1998 until June 2000.
